Composition

How It Works

Important Information

• Take as directed by your healthcare professional
• Best taken on an empty stomach or 1 hour before meals for optimal iron absorption
• If stomach discomfort occurs, it may be taken after food
• Avoid taking with milk, tea, coffee, or calcium supplements within 2 hours of dosing
• Common side effects may include nausea, constipation, metallic taste, or dark-colored stools
• Dark stools are a normal effect of iron supplementation
• Do not use in patients with iron overload disorders unless prescribed by a doctor

Pregnancy & Lactation

Often recommended during pregnancy and lactation to help meet increased iron and folic acid requirements. Use only as advised by your healthcare professional.
