Mevorab Tablets
(Rabeprazole Gastro-Resistant Tablets IP 20mg)
What is Mevorab?
Mevorab contains Rabeprazole 20mg, a Proton Pump Inhibitor (PPI) that helps reduce excess stomach acid production. Its gastro-resistant coating protects the medicine from stomach acid and ensures effective release in the intestine.
Uses of Mevorab
Mevorab is commonly prescribed for acid-related stomach conditions, including:
Acidity, heartburn, and GERD (acid reflux)
Stomach and duodenal ulcers
Zollinger-Ellison syndrome
H. pylori infection treatment (with antibiotics)
Prevention of ulcers caused by painkillers like Diclofenac and other NSAIDs
How It Works
Rabeprazole blocks the acid-producing pumps in the stomach, helping relieve acidity, reduce irritation, and promote healing of ulcers and reflux-related conditions.
