Composition

• Amoxycillin – A broad-spectrum penicillin antibiotic that helps kill infection-causing bacteria.
• Potassium Clavulanate – A beta-lactamase inhibitor that helps protect Amoxycillin from bacterial resistance, making the antibiotic more effective.

Uses of MEVCLAV-228

MEVCLAV-228 Dry Syrup is commonly prescribed for children with:

• Ear, nose, and throat infections
• Tonsillitis and sinusitis
• Pneumonia and bronchitis
• Urinary tract infections (UTIs)
• Skin and soft tissue infections
• Other susceptible bacterial infections

How It Works

Amoxycillin destroys bacteria causing infection, while Clavulanate prevents bacteria from resisting the antibiotic, providing enhanced antibacterial action.
